Torchbearers Adventurer Club
Russann Jansen, Club Director
Our club meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings during the school year. We meet in the Primary 2 classroom in the children’s wing of the University Church. Special crafts, games and awards, and classwork happen at every meeting. Parents are encouraged to assist with activities, teach awards, or prepare materials behind the scenes.
About our Club...
Our Adventurer Club meetings are creative, fun-filled adventures tailored to each class! Children learn about the Bible, health and fitness, nature, and people skills through club meetings, field trips, nature activities, crafts and games, and conference events. The programs are designed to support parents and care-givers in leading and encouraging their children in a growing, joyful love relationship with Jesus Christ.
Children progress through Eager Beavers and four Adventurer classes: Busy Bees, Sunbeams, Builders, and Helping Hands. The Adventurers program focuses on the four basic relationships in a child's life: my God, my self, my family, my world.
Visit a meeting to find out more about our spiritual, fun-packed programs!
